July 2020

I have been so busy having a fun summer, despite the world craziness, that I realized I had not posted our July photos!

My days are spent working, even weekends like right now :), but I also have two fluffy angels to keep me company.  When I sit outside to work on my pc, Bailey likes to sit on the table.  We have a whole process including a bath towel that my sweet dog and laptop can sit on so they don't get too hot on the slate table.

Over 4th of July weekend we had the Hacks and Dickersons over to watch "Hamilton" on Disney+.  We had so much fun!  David and I saw it with the boys and Thomas's friends in Chicago 2 years ago.  It was much better in our little theater room at screen level (which had balcony seats in Chicago).  We had a fun time with the food and we all loved the show.

We also went out to the Towsleys over 4th of July weekend for a cookout and canoeing.  So fun!

And I did a few Brown County State Park hikes and local park walks with friends.

I took the dogs for a pup cup

And we finally put Brennan's graduation things away.  Look at all those cards, along with his diploma, and lots of other goodies.

Karen and Bob hosted the Wine Club at their home in the country.  We had a great outdoor evening with yummy drinks and we flew lanterns!

Laura and I had a great time touring Nashville, IN and Bloomington one day.  We both needed a quick get-away.  We had fun at Ooey-Gooey, shopping in Brown County and downtown Bloomington, and Oliver Winery.

The following day Violet joined us for a visit to Louisville.  It was hard to see downtown Louisville basically shut day, but we certainly understand the reasons.  We visited Cave Hill and did small business shopping.

And doesn't Carolyn look great?  Getting to sit out in the courtyard at The Claiborne.   We sure miss visiting with her in person.

And finally our niece Natalie represented Mississippi in the International United Miss competition in New Jersey in July!  We are so proud of her!  Here are just a couple of my favorite photos from that weekend!

Hope you're having a great summer!
