December came and has gone so quickly! We had a very busy month, and I wanted to share a few photos.
I created a winter hot cocoa station that we've enjoyed daily!
David and I hosted our wine club at Tre Bicchieri downtown. We had their private room, all decorated for the holidays. We had a wine exchange to. A great night!
I attended the Philharmonic holiday event at the Irwin Gardens. The decorations were just beautiful. I loved this tree.
The Visitors Center offered special evening tours at the Miller House and Gardens this month. I led the first tour, and it was wonderful! My friend Renee and her husband Al happened to attend my tour.
Brennan and I attended some store open houses while Dad was traveling back from Vancouver and Thomas was working. We loved visiting a new-to-us shop in Franklin and see a live reindeer! This is Olaf!!!
Brennan marched with the middle school band in our Christmas parade. He did a great job!
We attended the high school production of "Pride and Prejudice". The drama group did an outstanding job!
My old office building - I love how they "light the tree" with windows in December.
More Miller House shots. I attended as a guest one evening on the Creche the Halls tour.
We hosted the holiday party for our neighborhood on the 47th anniversary of the day the neighborhood builders/owners moved into their home. We had 63 people at the party!!
I help get volunteers for the Philharmonic concerts and I was short a couple for our matinee Christmas concert so David and Brennan stepped in. Here's my favorite volunteer that day :)
My Cocktail Crew went to dinner in December and I tried a Moscow Mule - loved it!
And we saw Star Wars on opening night (Dad was there too!). Great night to see the show.
Snuggle bunny, wrapped up to watch a movie.
I saw this in friends' photos in other states and thought it would be great idea to have for the year that Thomas is practicing with us. It makes me feel better knowing other drivers might be aware and have some patience. Although he's doing really well.
We went to see Tricia's renovated farmhouse at her holiday open house. She's done a great job! Here are Mary, Bianca and me.
Happy 23rd anniversary! David planned dinner and a movie - a great night!!
Christmas came early (as always) for the Indiana Boatwrights. We had a great day to ourselves, enjoying all of our new gifts.
David got me some good champagne. Not sure when I want to open it - but I'm saving it for a special occasion!
Bailey loves opening his gifts.
Off to MS - this is what Bailey did for 9 hours each way. Rested on a blanket-covered pillow on Mommy's lap.
We stayed at Donna and Jeffrey's and kept Stella, Ringo, and Dexter. The 4 pups had a great time together.
The "littles" - Ringo and Bailey.
Brennan and Grandma Nan made her traditional Christmas cake. It was delicious!
Bailey enjoyed all the festivities.
I made a simple Christmas lunch for us and Grandma Carolyn, who was in the middle of packing up to move in a few days! Ham Sammies, Cranberry Salad, Braised Brussels Sprouts, Sparkling Cider, and Dark Chocolate/Cherry Cupcakes.
Bailey again, of course.
A wonderful Christmas dinner with the family!
Amazing fits all around. Here is Grandpa Laroy showing Danielle how to ride her new scooter.
Thomas showed us all the next day, but Danielle was a quick learner.
As always, the cousins played hide and seek. Here's Brennan :)
Bully and Bailey
Grandma Carolyn took us all out to celebrate Brennan's upcoming birthday. Had to get a shot of Grandpa in Brennan in their matching wear.
And Grandma Carolyn and Brennan!
And a few photos from Canton. Baby Curren was the big star I think. He had just turned 1!
Carey and Jane Marie
Stinkers. Way too many gifts for these two :)
I'll end up with Ka-Ka and Baby Curren!
Happy New Year!
