June was a busy month! It has been great having Brennan with us. He is studying Mandarin this summer and he is working at our local independent movie theater. I think he's getting ready to return to Purdue though. We get to move him in to his first apartment on August 12th!
Our Wine Club had a luau in June. It happened to fall on our friend Cindy's birthday. It was also the last wine club for Mike and Mary who have relocated to Portugal.
Since David and I work from home, the dogs hang out with us all the time. Here I was trying to read a book on a Saturday and Remy was chewing on it. They like to have our attention!
Violet planned a girls afternoon up to Indy to go to Cake Bake. It's such a beautiful shop with wonderful sweets and meals. It's always decorated so beautifully. We had a great time.
David does a great job keeping our yard looking great. I love June when everything is in bloom.
We had an early Father's Day with David before he and Brennan headed to Mississippi for the weekend.
We don't have much time for all 4 of us to get away at the same time this year. Thomas and I visited in May and Brennan and David headed down in June. I think they had a great time.
In June we celebrated Thomas's 21st birthday!
He came down from Indy so we could have cake and presents and then a number of his friends met us at 4th Street Bar (also a restaurant with good food) for appetizers and one round. They are great friends and we had fun celebrating with them!
We love having friends with a pool - we've spent some quality time at John and Ginger's this summer. Here Brennan is talking with Jess, Ying, and Baby Frankie, probably practicing his Mandarin!
