I have no idea how to write this post without including a ton of photos!
So, I'll split it into two.
I lived in Hawaii for 2 years - and they were awesome.
My family lived there for 2 more, so that meant summer and holiday trips back to visit them, and my friends who still lived there or were back home on vacation as well.
We all scattered for college after high school, but we got to see each other for a couple of years more, and of course now on facebook we can catch up properly!
A few yearbook photos my former teacher Anna scanned and emailed to me right before our trip. Can you spot me? Ha.

While we were in Hawaii, we had a wonderful dinner with two old friends -
my former teacher Anna, and Gordon who was our Mock Trial coach.
I haven't seen them in 21 years. Hard to believe!
They were a big part of my life in Hawaii and we've stayed in touch over the years with Christmas cards, baby announcements, emails, and now facebook. I loved getting to see them!
We had dinner at Mariposa one night, and Anna joined us at the Bishop Museum on our last day in Hawaii.
Chris and Anna, Patti and Gordon
It was a wonderful evening, and I hope I don't have to wait 21 more years to repeat it!
Speaking of Hawaii friends, we returned to our hotel one night and this gorgeous fruit basket was waiting for us from Renee and Mike.
Renee and I moved to Hawaii within a few weeks of each other, and became great friends.
I can't wait to see her in a couple of weeks!
It was really great to see old friends and relive some great times!
