Brushfire Designs

Are you familiar with Jennifer Steven's Brushfire Design crosses?  I absolutely love them.  I saw them for the first time three years ago in Mississippi Magazine, and have been searching for a canvas ever since.

This is a t-shirt design.

The stores I visit in Mississippi don't carry her artwork, but they are sold around the state.  I'm not sure if they're sold much outside of Mississippi.

A good friend gave me a package of her notecards last year.

My mother-in-law bought two ornaments for me last year as well.

And this is my second year to own the calendar.  It's the next-best-thing to a canvas :)
Each month's cross has a beautiful scripture included with it.
I kept last year's calendar because I thought about framing the different crosses from each month.  Not sure where I'd hang all of those, so I decided just to frame a GREEN one to add to my minimal St. Patrick's Day decorating.

I framed one of last year's calendar crosses and tried it out on a table of framed family pictures in our entryway.  Not sure I loved it here.

hello Amy and little David!

Then I tried moving it next to the entrance to our screened in porch.

Much better.

I really love these designs and the beautiful colors.
And this one is perfect for March!

I like her designs, too, Bonnie. I think I have seen her crosses in a store here called Lamb's Ears. They are in the process of moving from Cahaba Heights to Crestline Village, so I need to go see them again once they've moved.

Bonnie, I love how this looks framed! The colors in it are just beautiful. So glad I came across your blog. I'm a new follower.
