DIY To Do List Notepads

I love a good list.  As I look forward to becoming a stay-at-home-mom&wife in a few days, I want to make sure I am focusing on the right things each day.  Especially since this is the reason we decided to make this change for our family in the first place.

I know that much of my to do list will look the same each day, and that's great.  Instead of writing repeats down each day, I made up some notepads with those important tasks on them.  I'll pull off one a day and use it as my to do.  There's plenty of room to add other items or to make a grocery list on the back.

I'll be thrilled if I get to 80% of these things on any given day.  And if I get to ALL of them one day, I'll go to bed completely content!  As well as a list, it's a reminder of what's important to me in the Spring of 2010.  I have enough to get me through the school year, then I'll make up a Summer 2010 pad with a variation of this same list.

I made my list in Word and printed it off.  I took it to Office Max and they turned my paper into quarter-page notepads and gummed the top.  I understand I could just print this list off each day and I may do that at some point.  But I liked the little notepad approach and it wasn't expensive.  If I had gone black and white, it would have been even cheaper.

Let's see if these pads help me keep my priorities straight and lend me a sense of accomplishment in my new role.

this is a good idea! You are lucky to get to be a stay at home Mom. I at least get holidays and summer with the kids (I am a teacher), but sometimes just getting through the week with work and school is tough to get everything done that I would like - both with the kids and around the house.

That is such a clever idea, I need something like this because I am so scattered. I love crossing things off a list as well because it gives me a sense of accomplishment.
