Imagine backpacks being thrown up in the air - blame the photographer.
Today was the last day of school. I can't BELIEVE I have a 4th grader and a 2nd grader!!! They're, of course, thrilled that it's officially summer vacation. Because we had to make up like 5 snow/freezing weather school days, it is a good week later than normal.
Me? I'm spending my evening going through backpacks and STACKS of artwork, papers, reports, and notes that were supposed to go home back in, say, February.
Found this painting that Thomas did in October. I thought it was great. It's a flower vase that doubles as a fish bowl. Ingenious.
Here's my little reader. He's so much like his Daddy it brings tears to my eyes. And just try getting a response out of him when he's reading.

Love the vase/fishbowl. Ingenius indeed. I also love that you captured the joy of the last day of school (I could imagine the back-packs with no problem ;)
Thanks for following my blog. I look forward to getting to know you better!
